Matt Davis has been providing insight to those interested in the broadband market for 20 years. Pursuing research and communications after graduating from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Matt joined the Yankee Group, one of the world's first analyst firms focused on telecom in 1999. At Yankee, Matt founded the Broadband Access Technology practice which focused on the technology, software, systems and networks essential to the deployment of broadband services worldwide.
In 2006, Matt accepted the invitation to join IDC, one of the largest research firms in the world, where he built and led the Consumer Multiplay and SMB Telecom research practices focusing on communications service provider telecom and broadband strategy. At IDC, Matt paid special attention to innovative broadband technologies and small business use of voice and data.
In 2018 Matt struck out on his own and created Independence Research LLC, where he now has the freedom to research, analyze and comment on any of the important areas impacting the global broadband marketplace.

Bradley Christenson has been working with technology leaders and ICT enterprises both domestic and globally through major transitions in the communications and IT markets for more than 30 years. After graduating from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and later earning his JD from Suffolk University Law School, Brad joined IDC working with clients in all segments including hardware, software, networking, internet, peripherals, IOT, cloud, IT services, mobility, telecommunications and many other segments during pivotal periods of evolution and transformation.
At IDC, Brad became known for his strategic, relationship-focused approach to market intelligence and client engagement. He consistently exceeded revenue goals, earning multiple President’s Club and Salesperson of the Year awards, and built a track record of aligning IDC’s research strengths with the evolving needs of market intelligence, marketing and sales including senior executives, across the technology landscape.
In his most recent role, Brad served as Group Vice President and Sales Leader of IDC’s Telecommunications Center of Excellence, where he led a national sales team while also directly managing and overseeing the relationships with major global accounts including Verizon, AT&T, Charter Spectrum, Lumen, Comcast and Cox among others. Brad continues to apply his experience, insight, and leadership to help organizations navigate technology adoption, communications strategy, and ongoing industry change.
